Listers,

All of a sudden the amount valve noise increases. Pull the valve cover to
find one of the rocker arm adjusting nuts has stripped its threads. I
thought no big deal, just get one off the spare 1275 I have - no deal. This
is a 1098 with pressed rocker arms. The adjusting nuts are different sizes
for the pressed and forged rocker arms.

I would like to replace the rocker assembly without removing the head or
head bolts through the rocker stands. Has anyone pulled the rocker assembly
apart without removing the rocker stands? And with the engine still in the
car.

TIA
Brent
