Bud,
A friend of mine is talking about this school, how
much was the 3 day and what kind of car did you
use???? Will this get your license for most vintage
groups??

Bob -

When I went I think the cost was around $2500. We used an open wheel car with
a 2000cc Dodge (Neon?) engine. The have since changed to Honda power plants I
think.

They give everyone that completes the course a certificate just indicating
completion. But they grade you constantly during the three days on every
training exercize. Then you have to request another document, which I did,
that states your are qualified for an SCCA license. (A lot of vintage race
groups (like VSCDA don't issue 'licenses'). They go back and look at your
records and talk to your instructors, then, if they feel you are safe on the
track, they issue the document. They won't do that for everyone who completed
the course cause there are some of the drivers who just couldn't drive and
didn't pass. Then vintage groups (in my case, VSCDA)accept that document.
