Does anybody have a secret to installing the window waist seals and
those &$@*ing clips?
Yes I have a "J" hook which would work great if it was magnetic and not
so curved.
Is there a way to cut the glass in half so it's out of the way so I can
get to the clips then glue the glass back?
The window does not fit down the hole with the seals in place.
The clips will not go on with the window in the hole.
I really believe it is easier to cut off the outer door skin, install
the window seal clips, weld up the door and repaint the car. It would
save a lot of time.
Maybe if I bought the "correct" clips instead of the clips sold for the
seals from VB cause they don't fit the seal let alone the seal and the
metal.
Some mindless idiot had to do this at the factory, I wish I knew how he
did it.
Maybe I am trying too hard.
How to's would be extremely welcome.
