Have you seen that comic?  One of the Grad students had it posted on  
his door..

You are looking down on two white coated researchers, a maze, a rat in  
the maze, and cheese as the reward.  As you look closer you notice  
that the cheese is in a rat trap and one of the researchers said to  
the other,"Whoever said life was fair?"
