After setting the attendance record for Friday's
show/TV cast from SXSW Festival at Bat Bar, X made
their way east into St.Louis area at the famous Pop's
in Sauget IL. Pop's was used as the basis for the bar
in "Roadhouse". BZ calls and begins with a puzzler:
"how many miles do you think a Chevy equipment van can
go without the transmission falling out?". Trick
question - I answer "1/2 mile less than you've
currently traveled?" I get the prize, Billy gets to
miss sound check in Indianapolis. They should be at
the show via replacement van, and hopefully all smiles
to Chicago tomorrow and Madison on Friday. Check your
local schedules, come out and support the man with
toddler twins and a suspended animation Sprite
restoration that needs a jolt.
