Hey all-

OK-after all this time, I never thought of looking down the tunnel since my
Sprite was sans-engine when I got it.

After a local and proper parade, this blue MG taunted me to return home and
get my MKIII on the road...(yes your car was post '73, with an ugly electric
blue paint, but even the wife noticed as we sat at the light) I digress
again...

I did the rear brakes today with no real problems yet other that one broken
line-that I think I can deal with considering. The old cylinders just
crumbled by touch after 20+ years. Parking brake still works after massive
cleaning.

I observed the prop/drive was not attached to the rear. Never realized if
you reach down through the tunnel and it is not attached you can pull it
through the gear shift hole...

It has zerks, and there is new grease in the joints at least for now.

So in a round about question, should I use the original bolts for the rear
end, or get new ones? I'd feel better not going though the bolts on the
boot/trunk/box that came with it for this one

thanks
Chris
