Some guy stopped by today to ask me to get a 63 Sprite out of his yard.
It's an HAN7 with disc brakes and a glass window hardtop. He has the
seats in his attic, a new convertible top and the engine is at a machine
shop in the next town. Looking at the timing gear and chain in the boot,
the engine is a 1275 (I hope) the car even comes with 8 nice hubcaps
andis only missing the doors. I just happen to have 1/2 dozen + side
curtain doors but I may be parting this one out, it's rusty.
So if anybody is interested in a MKII Sprite hardtop, let me know. cheap!
And to think this car has been sitting for 18 years right here in my
neighborhood. How come I never saw it? But the owner knows I have a few
and asked if I would take it or he was calling the junk man. I took it! :)
