Answer #2 (which IS what I do) is just hand over to Snap-on or Mac Tools (see 
them most often) Dealer and he has it done.  

About 2 weeks (last year) and for the life of me I do not recall how much.

Off the top of my head, I think my Snap-On guy said that for "most" shadetree 
guys 3 - 4 years of not doing is OK.  BUT don't hold me to it as I have my five 
(and they ARE overdue but haven't used due to the back crap I have going on<F>) 
and up until 2 years ago (to date) haven't even been able to use onr<VBF>!!!
