We made it home night before last after a layover in Tucumcari. My F150
with the 5.4 liter engine averaged 15 MPG for the entire trip pulling the
trailer and 4 people inside. Gas was almost $1000 for the trip. Not too
bad if you are splitting it with someone. Gerard took off
last night for the last leg home for him to San Francisco. I see an email
from him on another list today so I assume he made it O.K. Don't know
about Gerard, but I had a ball at LotO 50th. Don't know if I want to
drive that far again though.
