Last tank of gas in my stock 1098 Sprite yielded 42 mpg which was highway
and city driving.

That is about right, given the technology in 1965. You can push it a bit but
too lean and you'll burn valves. ...bill in oregon

I decided to check the mileage on my '65 midget w /1310cc
Crane cam header frequently see 6000-6500 RPM.
driving around town like I stole it, I'm getting about 20 MPG....

Should I be lookin for more, or is this 'bout right?
