More questions...
On early Bugeyes there were gussets added between the rear axle hump and the
rear wheel arches.
This was later replaced with a box section support.
On those cars with gussets the front hardura mat had two notches cut out to
clear the gussets.
I have a picture of this type.
Question: Is it the case that there are two types of hardura mats? Gusset and
non gusset?
Also, there was a strap attached to the rear top of the cockpit that tied to
the top of the bows
when they were in the stowed position. From my photos it looks like a white
cotton webbing strp.
Was there a buckle on this strap? What did it look like?
Finally, What's a good way to duplicate the light "Cumulus Gray" paint for the
top bows?
