Hello Spridgets,
While I was at the Seattle (bellevue) ABFM, i broached the
subject of combining the Sprites with the Midgets and having
ONE class. The Midget guys acknowledged what we know, namely
that the Midgets are like the tow-headed step children of the
MG family, just as was known, about the Square-Body Sprites to
the Austin Healy Club(s). ..
BUT, they were concerned that if such a thing were to happen
that they would be competing against the BUG_EYES...
apparently, at least the guys i talked to they were there to
try to WIN PRIZES?... or PLAQUES?.. or some sort of
RECOGNITION?... ... and as we all know .. when they group the
Square Bodies with the BE's in the SPRITE group, you won't win
anything with the Box sprite.... .. soooo... at least in
Northern Washington, the idea of having ONE BIG GROUP instead
of two or three little ones has too much resistance...
at least for the present...
has anyone else talked about this at their localities??
