Hi all-
I'm still trying to sort out my charging and tachometer problems, and from
what I have gathered and read, I think at one time my '66 had both pos and
neg earth done to it.
For those keeping score, I have it running/put together by the book with
positive earth.
I found wires stripped on the white tach wiring (but not cut), and the
innards of the tach seem stock.
The generator does not match anything else, so origin unknown. I do know it
has good brushes.
2 questions-and I read Frank's conversion tips already (thanks Frank)
Is there a mod to the regulator that needs to be done when switching
polarity that I have not found?
How do I flash the generator to Pos earth to eliminate that part of it?
