How old are the rubber brake hoses?
Anything over 10 years needs to be replaced.
They will have the year embossed on them if from the mid 70s onward.
No date means they are 30 years + old and should have been replaced in
the 80s.
Also, disc brakes retract with the centrifical force of the spinning rotor.
They will stick a little if the car has not been moved after the brakes
are applied.
If the rotor gets hot after a few blocks of driving then there is a problem.
Calipers and hoses would be the most common problem.
