Should the bugeye ignition key switch have 3 positions of off, on and
accessory? Mine has those three positions on the back for the wires
but the key seems to only have 2 positions.

I checked all the wiring tonight then hooked up the battery.
Everything seems to work although I was stumped for awhile. It really
helps to have fuses in the block! No smoke came out of the harness so
I should be good. Put oil in the diff too with no leaks so I had a
good evening.

I may get to fire the engine this weekend. Although not a brand new
engine I plan to treat it like one since it hasn't been run in many
years. I know there is a procedure for this can someone post again
what it is? After I get oil pressure what rpms for how long, when to
change the oil and retorque the head.

Thanks.
