No, with all due respect, it's not "the norm"...not at all.
In the last 5 days there have been a number of posts on lever vs tube shocks,
Not all posts are, nor must they be, a direct response to a particular post,
Some posts, such as mine, contain general information on the subject that might
or might not be, educational and of general interest to all concerned on this
