Also, I called XM Radio listener care today to remove one of my radios from
my subscription. They are raising the price for second radios a couple of
bucks, and we don't use the one in the basement much, can't see paying
$8.99 a month when we don't listen to it. Well, just like AOL, or any
number of subscription based services, it takes an act of congress and a
presidential decree to ever cancel your subscription. BUT, after two phone
calls, 5 customer service representatives, and about 45 minutes combined
time on hold, the last customer service representative gave me 5 months of
service for the price of 1. $19.95x4 free months = about $100 of service
free. Just thought anyone else with XM might want to spend the hour or so
it takes on hold and try to cancel too.
