I noticed that the "Extend" I bought was made by Loctite. Is Loctite a Permatex
brand or vice versa? Or is the Permatex stuff a totally different company?

Yep. At first it was actually JUST the name that
changed<G>!! But
gradually the entire label followed and now includes
Instructions/Warnings
in SPANISH<sigh><VBF>!!!
