Can you say autocross...for boats?!?
I believe I'm correct when I say that this is a bit north of me in Hood
River, Oregon.
Within the past two weeks, we had a local boat racer (same boats) killed as
he went down a "new" stretch of the famous Rogue River. Our 100+ year old
dam was just removed...thank you tree-hugging, save everything but people,
baby-killing lefties...and this 39 year old along with his 13 year old son
went down a totally untested section of the river, lost control and all were
thrown out of the boat. The boat came down on the pilot. Did I mention the
boat was going 100 mph!!!.
Anyway, watching this type of boat racing is quite exhilarating. When
younger, I skied behind them...fun.
