Dave,
     Sorry to hear that.  We all do things in our youth that comes back to
haunt us in our old age.  I have arthritis in my upper spine from several
motorcycle and LBC car accidents when I was much dumber than today.  Notice
I said "much dumber".  I don't think I've wised up completely as I still
ride motorcycles and drive little creaky, unsafe LBCs.
