Look thru one of the access holes and see if one of the take-up tab springs at
the top of the pressure plate has cracked/pulled off its rivets, etc. This is
often aggravated by changing the slave rod and overthrowing the clutch. Once
engaged by the TO bearing, the pressure plate only needs to move .171 inches.
