I have a 1500 Spitfidget driveshaft here (it was a present). There is
no detectable difference in the center section, no reason it would not
work fine on a Datsun trans once you remove one of the u-joints and
install the Datsun yoke.

None of my RWA cars have had a dust sleeve on them. I always thought
it was a feature of the early cars ;-)
