Start with two stock tanks, cut the tops off each.  Weld the tanks together so
the two tops face each other.  Caution, cutting and welding gas tanks can lead
to explosions.  Have a pro do it, if you don't know what you're doing.  You'll
also have to fab a filler neck for the top part of the tank and cut a hole in
your boot floor for the top part of the tank to fit through.  If you could
find a fuel cell of the right size, you could cut the tops of the two tanks
off, insert the cell, and bolt the two tanks together at the flanges.

Speaking of factory mods on Sprites.  Could someone explain in more detail
from the pohtos on how one could construct an extended mileage  fuel tank
like
the one that is shown.  The seller states tht a fuel cell is installed in the
lower tank.  Why are there not two fuel cells? How are the two tanks joined
together where the one fuel neck serves both tnks?  Anyone seen photos or
other information on this tank system?
