That's an early MG 1098 head
1-5/32" intake 1" exhaust
28.3 cc head volume.

[Spridgets] Head Identification

Trying to identify my head. ( not the one on my shoulders)
Prior to my starter issue, I was having a rough running problem.
Doing a compression test I got 60 psi in 1 and 2, 240 in 3 and 260 in 4.
Pulled the head to confirm diagnosis of a blown head gasket, between 1 and
2.

Head has mild porting and ran very well for a lil ol' 1098.
Faster than many thought it should.
Here's the big surprise, it only has 1.16 intake valves and .98 exhausts!
Did find 12g206 cast into it.
What might this head/engine have come from?
