Sunday i went down to Escondido as planed to take Paul to Dixon Park.
I drove my 1960 Tourer down PCH to San Clemente -
Then the 5 freeway through Oceanside to the 78 Freeway to Escondido.
Even thought it takes longer it is a lot nicer ride..I put ran up over 200
miles round trip.
A few of the old time Morris people showed up.
Greg Emmett, Al Castillian, Jim Van Hoven,
There was one person i did not know who had the Morris Minor Tourer.
John Felt & family who brought his nice Bugeye Sprite.
Bob Gardner came to the event even after eye surgery recently.
Jim Crowder and wife - Many thanks for opening there home to all of use for
lunch,
There was two Morris Minors Tourers and one Bugeye sprite.
We stayed at the park for a couple of hours socializing - then went to Jim's
house.
He has a MG midget and MGB roadster.
We had a great lunch and went on our separate ways.
It was great day and thanks to the people who attended.
It was nice meeting the new people and having a fun day for Paul.
Paul was sleeping when i went to get him. He did not remember i was coming.
It was not one of his best days at first. He seemed better as the day went
on.
I know he had a great time - he asked if we could do it again.
