Pull one plug. Put that plug's wire in coil so you have coil>wire>plug.
Place plug with bottom electrode on head.
Turn on ignition (don't start, duh, it won't start). If points are
closed, open manually by hand. If points are open use small piece of
wire to ground neg side of coil momentarily and see if you get spark
upon ungrounding.
