Lin,
Are you looking for an OBD I code scanner? In my limited experience they are
not necessary. There is a procedure to use a jumper wire in the diagnostic
connector to flash the code on the "Check Engine" light. You count the flashes
to assemble the code. It should be any workshop manual for 1995 models. The
list of codes is much shorter than for OBD II, and I had to relay on basic
diagnostics and following the specific procedure for checking each sensor.

I have been looking a few years for an OBD I for my 1994 Saturn but can't
find one. Does anyone know where I can get one they must have made them
before 96. I have purchased & returned an OBD II in the past as it said it
only worked on a 96 and above.
Thanks Lin
PS I need my check engine light on like I need another hole in my head.
