You should change your oil annually, regardless of mileage. There are things in oil that are activated by heat and only last about a year, or so I'm told by a guy who knows oil. Maybe you are using something different or I'm ill informed or my info is outdated. A wise man welcomes correction so please correct me if I'm wrong.
