There is no magic engine conversion swap that is really worth the
effort.  Some who chose to spend much time, effort, energy, and $ have
done some nice swaps and ended up with nice setups.  But, 99% of
Spridget folks agree that it is best to just put in a good 1275 with
maybe a few bolt on mods and drive it like you stole it.

It is a fun car but there is no economical way to make it a really fast car.
