Billy,
The 295 head is a 1098 head. However, with flat top pistons and a .30
overbore on a 948, the compression works out to be about 9.5:1, which is
pretty good with today's 91 octane pump gas.

I thought the 12G295 head was for a 1098. Are you going to mill it to bring
up the compression?
