I have for sale a Ford flathead V-8 60 mated to a Chevy T-10 transmission via
a new speedway transmission adaptor. The engine seems to be a complete long
block with custom made headers. The heads are off (Actually just sitting on
the motor) so the pistons and bores are visible. The engine turns and
everything seems to be clean and in good condition, but I have not had the
engine apart to inspect the lower end. I have other parts such as the original
style aluminum intake, the front mounted distributer and headers for a boat
application and some other miscellaneous parts. $995 OBO. The motor is
currently sitting in a one off Crosley fiberglasssports racer. I plan to
remove the Flathead and install the Crosley motor and transmission (which I
also have) - basically take it back to the original condition that it was in
when built back in the late 1950s or 1960s.

This motor could be used in a vintage speed boat, in an old midget race car or
in a small hot rod. If someone wants the motor for an old Crosley, I also have
a narrowed 1939 Ford rear end that I would sell. These engines are getting to
be hard to find as they are fairly rare. I might be willing to sell the
Crosley sports car special / vintage race car / sports racer - whatever it is
- if someone is interested. The car appears to be a one-off, hand built fiber
glass body attached to a modified Crosley frame. The body is quite good, with
no cracking. Right now, a buyer would have a choice of running gear or I would
consider selling the race car with both configuations and let him decide
later. The price would depend on what all the buyer wants. The Crosley special
needs work and restoration, but it is a cool car. It should be eligible for
vinatage racing.

I might also consider something unusual to trade for - part trade or full
trade? Perhaps a Fiat 500, a Autobianchi Bianchina, or? I have posted some
pictures, if you need more, I can email them upon request. If you are
interested, please contact me via email through the craig's list link above or
call 541-four five nine - 3254. Thanks Bill
