Warm beer? - Hal
Hal, I'll agree with you on the gun laws over there,
but they have the beer thing down WAY better
than we do...
For all the
years I was travelling to England
(with my now ex), I considered it my
patriotic
duty to demonstrate that at least some Americans
are capable of
hanging with them pint for pint
down at the local.
There are an
unbelievable number of Bitters and
Ales and Ciders and Stouts (and on and on)
available at the local pubs. I did my best to
try every one of them. Failed
miserably of course,
but gave it quite the heroic effort for something
like
20 years.
I'd venture a guess that our Lister friends from
the right side
of the pond are too polite to say
so, but most American beers are incredibly
lame
by comparison.
