Not necessarily. US belt manufacturers, at least for racing harnesses,
use a different type of webbing to UK manfucturers, at least for racing
harnesses. So, they are much longer lived and considerably less effected by
sun
exposure. I'm not sure Alan was after a 30 year belt but it's an
interesting point for everyone to really think about how old the safety belts
are
in their car and whether or not they ought to be thinking about changing
them due to their age.

exposure and chemicals. When you really need them is when they are sure to
fail.
By a new set and glue on MG logos if you want them to look original.
