The rods used for the hand brake are different on the steel wheel 
rear than on the wire wheel rear. The info below is copied from my 
Sprite Specs Document that will someday make it to a web site I plan to create.

I removed the entire hand brake assembly when I installed the Panhard 
bar on my 67 steel wheel vintage race Midget. I have the complete set 
of parts. I also have 7 parts cars both wire and steel wheel, so if 
you need the parts, let me know.
