Actually a Spanish version with a Maytag built engine that was in 
right-side up instead of the inverted Daimler-Benz.  Yellow + 1 <_ (the 
ships designation) was used in the filming of the Battle of Britain and 
resides at the EAA Museum in Oshkosh WI.  The gasket is actually 
symmetrical and could fit either way  OR the chap forgot to cutout the 
passage way.
Now there are probably less than a dozen left flying and most are on 
display and a few under restoration.  See:
