hmm.. from what I"ve seen the brake line, that runs from front to back, fits
in a groove kinda made by a stiffener that is part of the floor.  Fuel line on
one side and brake line on the other.  Maybe racer types run the brake line
inside the trans tunnel but they didn't come that way and other than being
able to take a serious hit to the floor there is no reason to put them in
there.
