During the work I did on my '77 Midget. I purchased a complete set of
thread chasers from Craftsman. The set was perfect for what I needed and
came in a nice case. Chasers aren't as sharp as taps and dies because they
don't have to cut thru metal and create threads, so they are easier to use
on everything threaded before reassembly.

The full set of coarse, fine and metric chasers is 50 bucks, but it's Black
Friday so there might be a deal.
