Stu,
In the last few months there have been reports of counterfeit Fram
filters in the most common types in several trade pubs. They are
variously made in Mexico with some being made in China and other Far
East areas. I understand that the material in them doesn't even
filter oil and may clog as well as disintegrating. Ray
