Fitting Windshield Frame

Now that my car is finally back from the body/paint shop I'm busily 
assembling and running into some minor problems.

I'm looking for advice as to how to adjust the rearward tilt of the 
windshield assembly.  There is some interference at the top of the small, 
fixed window mounted on the right hand door when the door is closed.  
The left side seems fine.  Is this usually taken care of by shimming with 
washers?  Hopefully it's nothing too serious.  Thanks for any help.
