Hello Steve,
My last posting about this NAPA filter thing probably was confusing.
Actually what I meant to say is I went to the Ford dealership and
bought an "insert-o" screw fitting (block to spin on filter).
I then went to the NAPA parts store and bought their cross referenced
Renault oil filter whicch is 1335 (the equivalent of the Phram 3512).
The NAPA oil filter is 3/4 inch shorter than the Phram so hence no
need to lift engine etc., etc.
I hope that clears it up. I do appreciate your interest in this
up until recently perplexing problem.
