What is wrong with carbon build up? You will not get carbon
build up on any moving surface, Valve seats, Piston Walls where
the rings move against, or Valve Guides. The only thing carbon
build up does is reduce chamber volume increasing compression
ratio. And carbon build up really doesn't get to be that
much if you bring the RPM's up on your car every so often it
blows it out.
Maybe carbon build up was a big deal 50years ago in looser
tolerance engines, but it is not today. I would never do this to
any of my cars.
