Pleased to read of your good experiene, though I have found it rare that
Speedo shops provice such exemplary service. Rather, most seem to be surley
and without a care if the speedo or tach comes from a Brit manufacturer.
For those of us south of Fresno, I have had very good luck with an outfit
here in San Diego known as Foriegn Speedo. They gave me the guide to
calibrate the car when I took the speedo in to be serviced, which I
conducted in a similar manner to you, but without my wife. I called them
back with the calibration and they had the thing back to me the next day.
All the while, being friendly, cooperative and courteous. If anyone needs
the number, just let me know. Interestingly enough they seem to specialize
in Brit guages of all types.
