Stu,

Sorry to you had some problems. The only small difficulty I had was
pushing the left front steel brake line around the edge of the frame
support with my thumb. The FL1-A fit fine, but the way I found the
correct angle was to NOT tighten the block fitting snugly. I installed
the FL1-A a half-turn and rotated it around the block fitting axis until
it cleared everything. Then I tightened the block adapter (NOT GORILLA
TIGHT, this is an o-ring). I could then take off and put back the FL1-A,
and finally tighten it to directions (3/4 turn as I recall). My block
seal was clean, but if you did have some rust it need only really be
clean where the o-ring seals.
