I have some pictures in my archive of an Alpine kitted out in leopard skin !
Rootes also produced a tiger with all gold paintwork and gold interior!
The car still exists today.

A few months back I was flicking through an old copy of Modern Motoring
& Travel (Rootes' in-house magazine) and found an advertisement for
genuine Rootes fake leopard skin seat covers.....
