Reguarding the questions about tire size and wheels... I reciently put 205-40
X 16 tires on my 65 MKI tiger using 1990 Mustang alloy wheels . I had no
problems with clearance and used the buldge type lug nuts for better fit . I
believe I could have gone at least one size larger in tire size and still have
not had any problems. They look great and the overall height is about the
sane as a 205-60 x13 tire and wheel .
