        This is WHY bone yards exist.  It sounds like they found some of
the copper backing to the babbit rod and/or main bearings.  This means
she melted and possibly spun a bearing.  This could have been the cause
of the oil presure drop.  But on the reverse of that, if something else
caused the drop, It was then the cause for melting the bearings.  If
there is no crank or rod damage, you can probably just replace the
bearings and be on your way, after locating the cause of the oil presure
drop.
