Your problem with light throttle acceleration sounds like your accelerator
pump isn't working right. If it were a heavy throttle bog, it could be the
power valve.
 If there are no external leaks, It is probably linkage or actuating cam
adjustment. With the engine off, look down the primary side and slowly open
the throttle. Fuel should immediately come out of both jets with no delay or
lash in the system.If it worked OK before, then it's probably not the travel
adjustment. 
If the linkage seems alright then the problem could be dirt in the check
valve area of the pump circuit.
