Tiger Folks,
Thanks for the many responses on my question about
non-USA or non England Alpine/Tigers? with no Tiger script.
There are apparently several known Alpine 260s and 289s from
Europe.

Now the question is: If the auto was never registered
as a Tiger when purchased, and there was no Tiger script on it
as well, how could anyone define the auto as a Tiger?

On a lighter note; consider the 289 or 427 Cobra. There
are many of these running around. They have the "original"
MGB, VW or Mustang front end with "original" fiberglass body as well as the
"original" equipment 350 or 454 Chev motor. (except for a few with
the very rare "original" VW flat 4).
