For those who don't know, Ford part numbers can be decoded as follows:
Example: C4DZ-8600-A
C= Decade   A is 1940,  B is 1950,  C is 1960,  D is 1970,  E is 1980,
F is 1990.
4=Year
D=Car the part was originally made for.
For the 1960's and 1970's the Models are:
A=Galaxie; F=Pinto,Mavrick,Falcon; L= Linc. Mark 4; M=Mercury;
O=Fairlane;
R=Capri; S=T-Bird; T=Truck; V=Linc.;
Z=Mustang;  D & J are industrial.
I don't know what the Z (after the A) is for.
8600= Part group.
A= Revision

So  "C4DZ-8600-A" decodes as:
"C"  1960's
"4"   1964
"D"   Industrial
"Z"   ?
"8600"  Fan Group
"A" Revision- First revision. a "B" would be the second revision, "C"
3rd etc.
