Amen, Stu! I've been asking for this for close on two years. I do know that
some folks are using e-mail software does not permit editing of text when
using a "reply" function. In that case, one can do what I do; highlight
only the desired text, copy-and-paste into a new message to the List, and
add add one's own ">" symbols. A pain, but it keeps the new message down to
a reasonable size. Nothing eats time like having to read an entire thread
multiple times!
